Vacation is over

It was a wonderful eight days in northern California visiting friends, but on the third day back on the job I'm regaining my energy and enthusiasm for my work.

Hottest item on the agenda now is putting the Saint Alphonsus BeWell newsletter to bed. No longer am I waiting for other people to submit stories or photos. They're all here or will be soon.

ExpressCare. New ExpressCare services at retail outlets all over the valley are opening. The idea is to offer an alternative to long waits in the doctor's office or the inability to get an appointment within the next two weeks. Just pop in, and if it's the flu, a bad cold, or something else that is relatively simple, a nurse practitioner will take care of you.

Skin. What your doctor recommends for dry, scaly, callused, and other skin challenged by outdoor work and Idaho's dry air
